These results have demonstrated improvements in brain health, cognitive vitality, and sleep quality across diverse adult populations. Additional human RCTs are underway, including studies conducted by independent research groups, further expanding the clinical evidence base for Magtein.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">As the Magtein research base has grown, it has become an increasingly trusted magnesium form for studying brain magnesium, cognition, and healthy brain function across both preclinical and human research, with the evidence base now spanning more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Now researchers have carried out the first study specifically exploring Magtein&rsquo;s benefits in athletes. This randomized, placebo-controlled study in UCLA college athletes examined whether the sleep benefits previously demonstrated with Magtein extend to an athletic population, while also assessing recovery and physical performance over four weeks. </p><p style=\"text-align: left\">At SupplySide Global, ThreoTech &ndash; the commercial team behind Magtein &ndash; will hold a breakfast briefing to discuss the research recently carried out by Dr. Swisher&#039;s group at UCLA. These preliminary findings were first presented as a poster at the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Annual Meeting in April 2026, and full results are scheduled to be published in a peer-reviewed journal later this year.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Dr. Jeremy Swisher, MD, Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, is the Principal Investigator of the study. Dr. Swisher specializes in the care of student athletes and is the head team physician for UCLA Women&#039;s Volleyball and Swim &amp; Dive.
